Music Ministry

Music at Covenant

At Covenant Baptist Church, we believe it is important to worship the Lord through both choral and instrumental music. Through our Choral Music ministry, we provide opportunities for people of all ages to participate by singing.  We also offer instrumentalists an opportunity to play in our Handbell Choir.  Other instrumental groups are in development.  Please read below for more information.

Our five-octave handbell ensemble is open to anyone who reads music.  This group meets each Sunday afternoon from 4:45 to 5:45 in the handbell room. The Handbell Choir plays for our worship services several times during the year, and they are involved in an annual Christmas concert.

Instrumental Music

At Covenant, most of our music is accompanied by piano and organ. However, you can also expect to hear a variety of orchestral instruments. Our seasonal presentations often include a chamber orchestra, and we are developing plans to utilize an orchestra in some of our morning services on a regular basis.
