Our Mission: Covenant Kids Ministry exists to partner with families in the context of church family to provide children a biblical worldview and the opportunity to become fully devoted followers of Christ built on the foundation of the gospel for the glory of God.” (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Psalm 127:3-5; Matthew 19:14-15)

 

Covenant Baptist Church believes in the importance of children receiving a firm Biblical foundation. Our Preschool Ministry is committed to partnering with you to provide that foundation. Since our children are God’s gift to us, we believe we should do all we can to nurture and protect this gift. We should provide the very best learning environment possible. All that we do should be for the “nurture and admonition” of the children in our care. The Preschool Ministry exists for the benefit of the preschoolers (ages birth through kindergarten.)

Our Core Essentials

We commit to sow the seed of the gospel in pointing children to Jesus Christ.

  • Our children’s ministry is an integral part of the whole church.
  • Our goal is gospel investment and gospel impact.
  • Our church will be a refuge of nurture, protection, and care of children as a reflection of God’s love for us.
  • Our church will partner with families by discipling and equipping parents. We will encourage family worship and discipleship in the home.

 

New to Our Church

Once you arrive on campus, greeters are available to answer any questions and can guide you to our children’s welcome center. There you will be directed to your child’s class. We have a fine staff of teachers that are ready and willing to lead your child through the pages of God’s Word. Age appropriate curriculum will supplement your child’s learning experience.

 

Sunday School

Activities or lessons will be taught at a level your child can understand with nurture and love. All lessons are based on the Bible teaching concepts they will need to develop and cultivate a personal relationship with Jesus.

 

Sunday School Schedule: Sundays, 9:00 am

 

Infants – 1 year old’s – Room 204
Two-Three Year Old’s – Room 205
Four-Five Year Old’s – Room 208
Jr. children’s church (4 years old-1st grade) meets in room 211
Children’s Church (2nd-4th grade) meets in room 213

 

Note: Extended session now has the Jr. children’s church and children’s church attending service with parents for the beginning of worship until before the message. We then dismiss for children’s church before the last song and message.
