Mature Adults

 

Magnifying Christ by developing relationships and strengthening the church through service.
With more people living longer and healthier lives, Mature adults have the opportunity to have a profound impact on the faith and character of future generations. We provide leadership, presence, gifts, and service in our congregation and communities. We are encouragers for the younger generations in their walk with Christ. It’s not just a dream, but an ongoing reality at Covenant Baptist Church. As spiritually mature older adults, we are not only growing in our own faith, but we are discipling the next generation to have an enormous impact on their world for Jesus Christ.

Sunday School – Sundays at 9:00 am

 

When you come on a Sunday, be sure to stop by the Welcome Center. We have small group Bible studies at different times for men, women, singles, married couples, different age groups – one of the greeters can help you pick out the right class for you.

 

 

Discipleship – Wednesdays at 6:00 pm

 

In addition to our Bible Study groups, we offer a variety of other discipleship opportunities for adults. These range for specific Bible study topics for men, women, and co-ed adults to help with financial planning, leadership development skills, and improvements in marriage and other aspects of the Christian life.

 

 

PrimeTimers

 

This is the name given to our ministry with and for adults age 50+. Activities include fellowship meetings at least every other month usually on the 2nd Thursday of the month. These fellowships include fantastic programs featuring guest speakers, singing groups, and activities, as well as a great meal. From local outings to trips to Gatlinburg, Pennsylvania and beyond, we have a blast getting together and going somewhere new. Join us on one of our road trips throughout the year and spend time with other Mature Adults at the church.
